• First
of all, each text page is divided into to columns. On he left
column you can see the text in Greek, while on the right column
you see the same text in English. The fact that Greek is on
the left column and read first means that you always know what
the English text in the right column means. This way you feel
secure- which is important for stress-free learning.
• This side by side presentation means that even though you may be reading the
English text, your eye can take Greek in your peripheral vision. So subconscious
and therefore effortless learning takes place.
• Each line has rarely more than seven words. Because it’s short, it’s easier
to remember.
• You also absorb grammar naturally as you go along. Later, after you’ve
already experienced examples of the grammar rules, we point out how
they work in the
e-learning program. The opposite, i.e. first the rules and then the examples,
is boring and less effective.
• It includes mind maps which put images to the words helping you build up vivid
mental pictures of the language. You begin to visualize what it is like to be
in London, New York or even the English country. When you recall the images you
recall the words.
• There is also a complete glossary in alphabetical order which contains all
the vocabulary you are going to meet in the 41 episodes.
• The book is presented in black and white so as to help you focus your attention
on what you are learning with high quality printing and very carefully selected
paper quality.
